It's Steeler Country!
Movie Reviews
Incomplete Pass By NFL Films

"Do not buy this DVD!
It has the 4 Super Bowl videos (which run on ESPN & ESPN Classic constantly) but does not have the 4 Steeler highlight videos for the 4 Super Bowl seasons.
Instead, you get league highlight videos for 1974, 1975, 1978 & 1979. I did not know (and do not care) that Steve Bartkowski was NFL rookie of the year in 1975 or that the Jets were last in passing offense and had 2 head coaches in 1975, but this worthless DVD has provided that knowledge to me.
The blurb on Amazon for this DVD claims "go back through each winning season with highlights leading up to the big game, and celebrate the great Super Bowl triumphs." Hard to see how watching the Jets and Bartkowski highlights has anything to do with the Steelers. That blurb is false advertising.
It is not worth the hassle of attempting to return this DVD to Amazon for a $15 refund based on false advertising, but I have been burned.
Poor judgment by NFL Films in not including the 4 Steelers highlight videos for the Super Bowl seasons and not dumping the league-wide seaason highlight videos for those years."

"I was so excited when this DVD came out hoping to get the four Pittsburgh Steelers highlight films from the '70s. 98% of all this material is already included in the Super Bowl Collection Sets put out last year on DVD. Why won't NFL Films step up and give us more??? This should be a STEELER-SPECIFIC box set, not some rehash of the entire season for all teams...
Come On Steve Sabol; give us what we want!!!"

"As the previous reviewer wrote, this DVD only shows the NFL Films version of Super Bowls IX, X, XIII, and XIV. It does also have a short profile of Jack Lambert, John Stallworth, Chuck Noll, and a couple others. They are only about 2-3 minutes a piece though. The league season highlights are horrible. Who cares about the other teams. I bought this because it was supposed to be about the Steelers. Wish I could get my money back. Gave it two stars instead of only one because of the profile on Lambert, he was the best."
Steelers: 1970's Dynasty!

"I bought the DVD figuring that it would include the Steelers 1974, 1975, 1978 & 1979 season highlights, plus the Super Bowl Championship Highlights. Instead, we got to see the NFL season highlights of those four Super Bowl seasons. Not a complaint by any means. I'm sure there are people disappointed about the DVD, but I'm not one of those. I guess being a loyal Stllers and NFL fan, especially in the 1970's, people can see how good those other teams were, and just how great the Steelers became."
Pittsburg Steelers Super Bowl Champions- Old versions

"I was lured into this DVD thinking I will get something nicely done, and got very disapointed. The Steelers are a great team but the 70's NFL productions were not so. The narrative of the season was written with a decadent ritm, sometimes using ridiculous rimes, which make it slow paced. This is just a remaked of old productions who look old and feel old.
