Could be so much more

"I have not seen other Pink Floyd documentaries so I cannot compare. From my take, this dvd chronologically covers Pink Floyd's releases from start to finish with meaningful commentary from engineers, music critics and producers. I enjoyed it and learned things about the band I didn't know. As well, it portrayed their development, musical maturity and theatrical prowess well.

What I missed was hearing from the musicians themselves. There were no interviews from the band members. Although there were cuts from concert footage, where there were legendary moments, they could have included entire tracks. The dvd is just over an hour long. How much better it might have been at 1 1/2 hours including 4 or 5 pieces in their entirety.

Having said this, Pink Floyd did so many amazing things with sounds, song writing and performances, I still very much enjoyed this dvd."
