(GAMER) Reviewed on 4/25/2019... The beginning was a bit slot and having Wahlberg was a policeman was a mismatch based on his history before becoming famous. Wahlberg and Monaghan's acting was pretty weak in the beginning and got better as the movie progressed. The police and terrorist fight scenes were pretty action packed. Not sure how much of this was based on actual events since some seemed to be over the top Hollywood. I preferred the Stronger movie with Jake Gyllenhaal but action scenes in Patriot's Day were pretty impressive with the special effects. 3 of 3 member(s) found this review helpful.
