"I'm a fitness instructor who loves dance and advanced choreography--and Patrick is definitely one of the most advanced instructors out there in terms of complexity. This is one of Patrick's more accessible workouts so far. He seems to realize that most of his previous choreography has been incredibly intimidating, and makes and extra effort to break down the choreography and to be encouraging. That said, this step routine is still advanced, and I would recommend it only for an exerciser who is able to handle complex choreography. There are 3 challenging 32-count combinations. The first is the most complex, the second the easiest, and the third somewhere in between. The intensity is intermediate, given that Patrick often adds in step-taps as a holding pattern to explain the next set of moves. Some caveats: If you have knee problems, I'd skip this one, since there is lots of turning. Also, there are some moves where he steps completely over the step, which could also be a problem. Patrick is a warm and encouraging encouraging instructor. He is definitely a dancer, and I love watching him move. He has his own flair and funk that he brings to every workout."
Only for incredibly patient people

"I have to wonder, when this DVD was produced, if any normal people tested it before distribution? I have been doing step aerobics for years and I have given up on this DVD. It makes me angry as I struggle to understand the complex moves and it makes me completely furious every time the camera focuses on Patrick's face and not his feet. What idiot producer thought that would be a good idea? Perhaps if my DVD player had a 'slow' function I would be able to figure out the choreography, but I'm too angry now with this horrible production to care anymore."
...so,..so......

"I was really excited when I got this workout dvd, i was so ready for a semi- intense workout that would be really fun. yeah well....it didn't really work out that way. for me, and maybe i'm just slow, but the instructions were not clear and there was so much else going on while he was giving new instructions that i found it hard to follow. most of the time i had to just march in place because i couldn't keep up with the choreography. then again that might just be me. but then the dvd, brand new, first time i'd ever watched it, never been dropped or scratched, skipped. so i completely missed the second portion of the workout. so, in my opinion, if you're looking for something worth your money and time, find something else. this was too fast, confusing, and not functional to spend your money on. once again i have to say, that's just me."
