Ryan and John both develop their characters well and show some 'real' emotions that can develop within couples. It seems to have been a more subtle intro to the gay community, not portraying them as total lunatics (i.e. Robin Williams, in Birdcage). The 'bad guy' is a horrible actor..... he came off too 'slapstick', but it didn't spoil the movie for me. I enjoyed the movie, but only once... gave it to a friend who had recommended it to me."
