This was a good movie, but not "One of the Best Movies of the Century". Cillian Murphy's performance deserves to win the Oscar for his portrayal of J. Robert Oppenheimer. It is clear that Christopher Nolan did not read the entire book "Modern Prometheus", which was his inspiration for the movie. Understandably, one cannot distill 600 pages of fine print text, and 120 pages of annotations into a 3 hour movie. That would require three movies, each 3 hours in length, which would try the patience of any movie goer. Some of the graphics were incredible, but were a distraction from the main point of the movie, which I presume was to be a portrait of "Oppie". The character Strauss should have been given the harshest treatment, since he was the one attacking Oppie. I had the opportunity to meet one of Oppie's bodyguards at Los Alamos (decades afterward), and said to him that I thought Oppenheimer was a national hero. He sighed, bowed his head slightly, and said "So do I."

The sets, costumes and CGI were spectacular. An all-star cast with some actors that you won't even recognize since they were dressed and makeup'ed so well for their role. Batman Director Christopher Nolan Co-Directed and Co-Wrote this. A little choppy at times but explained by four different directors. Way too long at three hours and should have been cut down to two hours to make a much better flowing movie without drags.
