Rival squads of sociopathic covert agents turn on each other with vicious glee when their underground facility is threatened with flaming death. The fun of Operation: Endgame lies in the cast: this is a pretty unlikely col... more »lection of assassins, played by the likes of Rob Corddry (Hot Tub Time Machine), Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover), and Emilie de Ravin (Lost), alongside more traditional Hollywood superspy types such as Maggie Q (Live Free or Die Hard), Ving Rhames (Dawn of the Dead), and Ellen Barkin (The Big Easy). Operation: Endgame also has fun with spook lingo (the agents are all named after tarot cards, ranging from the Devil to Temperance to the High Priestess) and extremely graphic violence (truly, at least half of the movie is watching the agents kill each other with improvised weapons, like paper shredders and golf putters). Corddry has the most fun with his part, giving the movie a jolt of energy whenever he appears, but the whole cast has their moment (though Rhames is wasted on a one-joke character). All in all, a bit flimsy, but Operation: Endgame knows that it's trash and revels in it. A candidate for cult film status. --Bret Fetzer« less
The beginning was very unnecessary and should have been cut, shortened and improved. Thereafter was when the action kept going until the very end!

If you don't like it, you probably work there...

"This movie is a huge allegory for the corporate world and who runs it. It represents the "balance" of how things are, and they all start killing each other because...well...its a dog eat dog world, ey?
What's it all mean? That with our new President Barack Obama, we get a fresh start (the building blows up = end of the corporate world). Where education comes first and encourage people to pursue their passions and dreams (you know things that make you happy and your life worth living...remember that?), instead of being funneled into corporations that drain our energy and work us dry so the people highest up can do the least and make the most. While we wait to be retired at 68....whose American dream is this? That's why I love this movie, because they END that world. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Live long and prosper."
So funny.

"I rented this movie, watched it for about 10 minutes, paused it, got on Amazon, bought it, and then went back to watching it."
TWISTED LITTLE PIECE

"I am very surprised at all the negative reviews of this movie. I almost didn't watch it based on what I read here but I am very glad I did. This movie is destined for cult status. It was a fast paced, twisted little tale of modern day life. Everything you feared about politics, democracy and how corporations are run today is true in this snarkfest filled film that makes the horror of it all laughable.
You know those conspiracy rumors about the government having super secret black op branches? Well it's true and they are Alpha, who want to destroy anything that gets in the way of American interests, and Omega, who tries to stop them. The new guy joining the Omega team notes that they cancel each other out then? and his mentor (Chariot) gleeful tells him that's what lays at the black heart of democracy - two opposing factions canceling each other out, if we're lucky. These two teams are headed by a man with the codename of the Devil. Hmmmm. Social commentary is a key factor in this movie so if that's not your cup of tea, then you might want to pass on this movie. I would also advise those who dislike anti-Chaney comments to pass since there are plenty of those. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy the action filled plot of a 2 hour deadline for doomsday.
The characters in this film are hilarious and foul mouthed with Chariot and Empresses leading the way. The dialogue is rich with rants and philosophical gems but goes by quick so you need to pay attention. This highly original film managed to juxtapose Obama's inaugural speech with promises of transparency with what was happening onscreen. Kudos! It's not perfect (how about when the new guy -the Fool- meets his second Alpha member after "Operation: Endgame" begins?) but it was great fun to watch. This film is filled with interesting characters and most of them cut throat but the creepiest two were the everyday corporate Joes that manned the surveillance cameras. Their conversations were the scariest and funniest.
This movie can be viewed more then once to enjoy the many layers and I highly recommend it. This movie starts out with fast paced witty dialogue and runs full steam into a bloody battle between the Alphas (Republicans) and Omegas (Democrats). I never saw the ending coming, I thought it was classic Hollywood and then it took a sharp turn. Anyone who enjoys black comedy will love this movie!

"Usually not all comedy action movies are really good, but this one was differenet it stood out.
The only thing I didnt like about this movie it wasn't really much of a black comedy and I really wanted more of that, but overall this movie wouldnt be a waste of money, I personally will recommand anyone who loves comedy action to watch it."
