Slightly faith-based, heartwarming, and hilarious. Great storyline and acting.
Synopsis: Lane Speer is a 16-year-old girl who grows up spending her family vacations camping in the mountains. She takes those experiences for granted until she loses her father to a sudden bout with cancer. Only a year later, as Lane is still reeling from her father's death, her mother decides to marry a guy that Lanae hardly knows. and even more confusing, she is a Mormon. To top it off, while her mom is away on her honeymoon, Lane is forced to stay with her Mormon step-aunt, who takes her away to a Bible-themed girl's camp with a bunch of Mormon teens. Confronted with memories of camping with her family, Lane tries to adjust to her new surroundings and to find peace again after the death of her father.
