Being a fan of Frances McDormand, I had to watch this HBO miniseries. McDormand plays a woman who is blunt to the point of being cruel, and is unbendable in her opinions which she doles out indiscriminately. Her saving grace is that beneath the crust you sense that she does care deeply. Richard Jenkins plays her husband. He is the kindness to her sour, a solid supporting role. It's a little gem of a film I'm glad I was able to see. Well worth a watch.
