A Hallmark movie on steroids, but parts of it are pretty decent.
Talented lead actress Rachel Hendrix does a good (or at least adequate) job with a script that seems to have come from an alternate kinder & gentler universe.
Low realism, exaggerated acting, but a decent (if overwrought and contrived) story line. This is like an alternate universe where policemen don't have (much) of an attitude, wise adults kindly and seriously explain things in slow-motion to teenagers, and the teens themselves are so squeaky clean they are afraid to even kiss.
But if you enjoy Christian-ish films, there are far worse than this one, and Rachel Hendrix makes this one almost bearable.
Watch the preview clips on Amazon if you aren't sure if this level of realism (or anti-realism) is your cup of tea.
