An interesting film which posits as many questions as it ans

"Because I hate spoilers in movie reviews, and because this film is absolutely susceptible to such treatment, I will attempt to review it without revealing anything you really should see for yourself. Here goes:
Watching this film was a nice experience. First, the story, which was much more character-driven than plot driven, was strong and consistent. In other words, there were never any points during which I asked myself "why would the director put that in here?" Everything fits and seems to advance the story nicely. Secondly, each of the actors, most of whom I did not recognize from other work, was a strong enough performer that he or she became the character portrayed and made me care what happened next. Thirdly, photography and editing were more than capably done. There wasn't a single thing I didn't like about this movie. I only gave it four stars because I reserve the highest rating for a truly exceptional film. This was not an exceptional film, but it was very good. I wasn't mad that I had spent two hours watching it, but I also did not call all of my friends to recommend it. I'm glad I rented it, and perhaps even more glad I did not purchase it."
Not too bad, just keep your expectations low

"If you keep your expectations low you can find this movie entertaining. It sure is a simple movie with a touch of delicious European sillyness. It is simple but it gets the job done better than most of the expensive big budget American movies."
