Dont expect thia to be a bible story as it is not, it is the directors artistic vision. Its a very good fantasy story... As is the original edition... Despite the excellent acting, this was a very disappointing and weird film. This was ostensibly the story of Noah and the Ark, done up as a Hollywood spectacular. Instead, it was filmed as a quirky fairy tale, with dramatic changes to the bible story. There were rock monsters, sparky fire rocks as pocket lighters, a mysterious "Creator", and a bunch of other made-up crap that had nothing to do with the story we all grew up with. There were also a lot of other changes to the story of Noah's family, changes that weren't even useful to movie making.
