Dylan Walsh and Julian McMahon put a different plotline of plastic surgeons and all the baggage that comes with it! Common themes drive this series downward as it progresses.

I have only watched the first season, but I've really enjoyed it so far. The main characters are very likable, and it's fun to see what sort of mess they will get into next!

This is one of my all-time favorite TV series that really pushed the envelope; Drs. Troy and McNamara were totally outrageous, but the story lines just sucked you in each week. Kimber was my favorite female lead, in all her attempts to reinvent herself, but I enjoyed all of the cast members as well as the parade of guest stars with their sometimes heartbreaking, often quirky, always fascinating plastic surgery requests!
The box sets have some great special features, and the one thing that prevented me from buying the packaged "Complete Series" set (in the grey box with Christian and Sean on the cover) was that there wasn't a single extra included; it's just the box sets thrown into a pretty bigger box. I expect a series set to be something special, like the Sopranos or Sex and the City or Charmed, or at the very least, like 24 with a bonus disc of special features you can't get elsewhere. The Nip/Tuck Seasons 1-6 DVD box sets have the identical content included with the "Complete Series" box set ... minus the outer box. Unless you can get a great deal on the actual "Complete Series," the individual box sets, whether you find them separately or in a set, are the very same.
I so miss that famous line ... "Tell me what you don't like about yourself"...
