Kind of like the Twilight Zone series where you either love or hate this.

Rod Serling makes his way back with a follow up to the Twilight Zone in the early 1970s. Some of the tales end flat, abruptly, or even in a confusing way, while others are much better. Among these are several Lovecraft short stories and other popular horror authors of the day. The beatnik or hippie jargon and dress of the day can make for some (perhaps unintentionally) amusing parts, such as John Astin (Addams Family) waiting in hell with an appropriate hippie costume. The shorter episodes are truly reflective of the popularity around vampires and werewolves of that era - much like the short stories found in Eerie and Creepy magazine. This set is so faithful to being complete, that it even shows the same episodes a couple times because they aired in different seasons, but had been re-skinned with a different opening sequence. Also contains an un-aired story on Disc 3.
