Movie ReviewsNot what I expected Kara Buckeridge | 08/15/2010 (2 out of 5 stars) "Only 3 of the 6 episodes on the disc were actually about going to school, and my children had already seen all of them on Nick Jr. I wish I had known the names of the episodes before buying the dvd - I wouldn't have bought it. For future interested parties, the episodes are: Dora: First Day of School Diego: Linda the Librarian Blue's Clues: Blue Takes You to School Wonder Pets: Off to School (help the baby blowfish) Wonder Pets: Save the Pangaroo Ni Hao Kai-lan: Lulu Day" Good, but Description a Touch Misleading Glacier Bay Bistro | 08/11/2010 (3 out of 5 stars) "After reading the information on this DVD, we thought it used all the Nickelodeon characters named in one single story about the first day of school. That is not what this DVD is and it's the reason we are giving only a 3-star rating. The DVD is a compilation of school related episodes that have been shown on TV (several of which we have already seen many times):
Episode #1: Dora the Explorer "First Day of School" Episode #2: Go, Diego, Go "Linda the Librarian" Episode #3: Blue's Clues "Blue Takes You to School" Episode #4: Wonder Pets "Off to School" & "Save the Pangaroo" Episode #5: Ni Hao, Kai-Lan "Lulu Day." We love the Nickelodeon characters and shows, but we were looking for something more specific in helping to prepare our daughter to begin kindergarten. Through Amazon, we also purchased the "Getting Ready for Kindergarten" DVD by Rock `N Learn and love it. It is a more all-encompassing preparation for the start of school.
