"I really hesitated getting this DVD, being a race fan it seems like only a few drivers are highlighted. But I am glad that I did. Seeing so much press on Jr. I started to wonder if he was in all these ads because he is full of himself. He is definitely not. He has qualities in him you don't see in many "stars"; character, heart and humility.
The DVD was well done, very real, up close and personal and extremely funny! The selection of music/lyrics really fit the DVD. Seeing those that surround him, helped to see how he stays grounded and real. I was also glad that there was not a section on his past female relationships. He is a great race car driver in his time. So many say he isn't his father, well, why should he be? He is Dale Jr., his own man.
I do not envy his schedule and the amount of privacy that is taken away from him but I do see how all his popularity and earnings has helped so many organizations and foundations reach their goals and victories. By lending his name to Victory Junction or Make A Wish he is able to make many things happen for some souls that definitely need there moment in the spotlight.
I recommended every race fan see his DVD, whether you are a Jr. fan or not."
Way to go Jr!

"After watching this DVD - I can honestly give it the "Thumbs Up" for the manner in which Jr. allows us into his "NASCAR" life. He truly does give one a feeling for what it takes to succeed with his career choice.
The direction of this DVD, the method of filming, and Dale's candid talking to the camera let's anyone even remotely interested in stock car racing get insight into this lifestyle. He comes across as the boy-next-door in a good way....even with all his bleeped cussing! It's good to know that this young man still tries to maintain a "normal" lifestyle.
Purchase this DVD because you're interested in NASCAR. Purchase this DVD because you're a Jr. Fan. Purchase this DVD to see how a North Carolina Native remains true to his fans and family. Just purchase it!"
Dale's Life, or why I wouldn't want to be a NASCAR driver.

"First a disclaimer: I am not a regular NASCAR fan. I just picked it up to see what all the hubbub was about. First and foremost, this is a fun DVD. No question. The concept of "a week in the life" is a great one and the film itself, the "story", is well executed and really engagaing. I must say he shows a lot of class in picking a race that he didn't win to go into detail at the end. You have to figure that with number of cars and races, driving team lose more often than they win, so showing that is being real. And the music is worth the price of the DVD alone. The man has great taste in music. And the extras are fun too. If Dale Jr. ever wants to give up racing, he has a solid career ahead of him producing music videos and MTV reality shows.Dale is mellow and funny and when he's talking to the camera you really feel he's being straight forward about what his life and racing are like. When he's hanging out with friends and family, you see the terminal, albeit charming and fun, teenager he is. The charm with which manages to needle, prod and harasses everyone and not get his block knocked off it is obvious someone is a professional youngest sibling. :D All kidding aside, you can see a lot the goofing around is blowing off steam. The amount of patience and commitment to his duty to the fans and his sponsors totally belies his boyish rambuncousness during his "downtimes". God knows, I would hate to have to live with the amount of media and PR he has to. Good Gawd! It's insane. You almost feel the relief with him when it finally gets to race weekend, and then you've gotten to the best part. I wish they could have spent a little more time on the cars, the tracks and racing in general. As a newbie you do learn a lot, but it leaves you hungry for more. Which I suppose is the point. Sneaky NASCAR.For the non-NASCAR person, despite the fact that it was made for NASCAR fans, the video is a great introduction to the world of stock car racing and you will be sure to get sucked in. Definately worth checking out."

"I received an early press copy of this in the mail and it is some of the best production I have seen for a sports DVD. Whether you are a fan of NASCAR or not this DVD has it all. Tons of bonus features and an incredible soundtrack featuring All American Rejects, Staind, OAR, and many more. This DVD shows just how big a superstar Earnhardt is. It also shows him chillin with his friends and family and he seems like a real down to earth guy. I'm buying a few for my friends when this comes out."

"Inside, behind the scenes, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is one of the hardest working men in NASCAR today. In Any Given Day he takes you into his world... shows you what the driver of the #8 Budweiser car really does all week! Dale even takes us with him on his leisure time showing us how real and laid back he really is. From being in a photo shoot, to hunting with his friends, to racing the #8 Chevy, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is a man of great spirit, drive, and heart. Once you see this, you will never see him in the same way again, you will respect him more on and off the track as a man not following in his father's footsteps but a man who stands alone!
I applaud Dale in his bravery to do this week in and out. I also commend him on taking time to talk to as many people as he can and also to his contributions to the Make a Wish foundation.
Watch this video if you like NASCAR and DEFINATELY watch it if you love Dale Jr.! Thank you Dale for letting us into your life this way and for all you do on and off the track... but especially for on the track.
(Side note: Alabama loves you Dale. Thanks for making Talladega so Enjoyable!)"
