Late '90s contender in the time-honored sweepstakes for teen idolatry, 'N Sync is best explained by the late blues sage Willie Dixon: "The men don't know, but the little girls understand." The quintet's buoyant dance pop, ... more »chopped and channeled to weld post-New Jack rhythms with creamy harmonies, won't qualify them for their own patent application, but musical originality isn't the point. "The official home video," 'N the Mix with 'N Sync, gives the Orlando, Florida group's mostly female, young teen constituency an unabashedly glowing portrait of Justin, JC, Lance, Joey, and Chris performing for their fans, musing over their musical kinship, and moving behind the scenes. This 75-minute valentine will remind parents of venerable Tiger Beat profiles, right down to the bullet-point crib sheets on individual members listing full names, birth dates, and "likes" ("Hard Rock café menus" among the more perplexing choices). Versions of their first hits, "I Want You Back" and "Tearin' Up My Heart," videos for two subsequent tracks, plus sneak previews for two additional songs are interspersed with documentary footage, and there are plenty of quick-cut glimpses of their tightly choreographed, athletic dance routines, garbed in de rigeur sportswear and fashionable logos. The souvenir package also includes "an exclusive 1999... locker poster." --Sam Sutherland« less

Ahhh...Nsync. How I love them. I have just changed all my VHS into DVD's of these guys.
They are fun/witty and extremely talented. I only wish they'd come back together for another album.

This was an awesome DVD!

"The best part was that it was done by *NSYNC so everything on this DVD is factual. Plus, it has a lot more than the home video. The stuff on here that you can also find on the home video are the music videos for "Here We Go", "I Want You Back", "Tearin' Up My Heart", "God Must Have Spent", "For The Girl", and "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays". There is also a lot of interviews, live performances, two songs from the Disney Channel Concert Special, and the guys just goofing off and having fun (even riding a roller coaster). The stuff that you can find only on the DVD are the music videos for "I Drive Myself Crazy" and "U Drive Me Crazy", a fact page on each of the guys, a bunch of pictures of the guys as a group and also when they were little, and you can make the words to the songs appear on the music videos. It is very fun to watch and I laugh every time. You'll definitely like this video, even if you aren't an *NSYNC fan!"
*N Sync rules!!!! The must-see video, get it NOW!!!!

"If you haven't seen this video, I feel for you! We all know how great *N Sync is already! (At least I do) I mean, *N Sync is da bomb!!!! I luv them! I luv them! Anyway, about the video, it is hilarious! It shows all of *N Sync's videos, our well-known U.S. ones, ones only released in Europe, and even some that haven't been released ANYWHERE yet! Not only that, but clips of their Disney concert, regular concerts- showing how they involve their fans, meet-'n-greets, interviews, and even behind-the-scenes looks at the guys when they're out being themselves! It even includes JC's very funny version of "For the Girl Who Has Everything". "For the girl who eats everything, I bring you fudge... cookies 'n stuff!" -JC. Well, all I can say is, "All you *N Sync fans, you MUST get this video!!!" Peace Y'all and Stay *N Sync 4eva! "Some dreams just fade away, like yesterday's sunset. Some dreams are made to stay, she's one dream I'll never forget!" P.S. Watch out, now *N Sync has at least 4 CDs out!!! I know I have all but one, which I'm planning on gettin' here soon, do you have 'em all?"
A must for any NSYNC fan!

"This is a very very good place to find funny video of NSYNC at their best. Between them singing 80s music in a limosine (Joey's personal home video), and Justin's classic "I'm not old enough to go clubbin'," you will be laughing your butt off. Another cool thing is JC's singing "For the girl"... but only it's about the girl who "eats everything!" Personal interviews with the guys, clips of soundchecks at shows, video from shows, and footage of a few meet and greets make *N The Mix one of the coolest things you could buy. Ever seen the video of them riding the "Mr. Freeze ride, like, 8 times" at a theme park? The down side to the vid: It's BEFORE No Strings Attached came out, so they are pretty young and there is no really recent music (Bye Bye Bye and newer does not exist on this). BUT it is SO worth it to buy this piece of *NSYNC. Footage from when they were babies plays through the end credits! AWE how cute!Anyway, you need this video/DVD. I just bought it on DVD even though I already have it on VHS, cause on DVD I can skip to my favorite parts! YAY DVD Chapters!-Katie 16/f/IN"
A surperb video, but buy the DVD format

"An important advice: To fully harness the release of this title, it is strongly recommended that the DVD format be bought. It has some extra stuff the VHS doesn't have. And that extra stuff happens to be good - 2 more music videos and a photo gallery. The 2 more music videos are "I Drive Myself Crazy" and "You Drive Me Crazy". The first video looks a bit old. The second video, however, should please 'N Sync fans. But the thing that warrants the purchase of the DVD is really the photo gallery. It features the childhood photographs of all the 'N Sync members - from their baby pictures to their childhood ones. Definitely lends an intimate touch to the DVD. Previous reviews have described how funny the video is. Well, I didn't think the video was that funny. But I must say, it was very well-produced, the numerous music videos (including rare ones like "For the Girl Who Has Everything") and live performances were well-placed throughout the length of the video. There was also a reviewer who mentioned JC Chasez singing a piano acoustic version of "For the Girl Who EATS everything". It was a very short performance, too short to make me laugh. (Just two lines : For the girl who eats everything, I'll bring her fudge, cookies & stuff )Overall,as a debut video of an artist, this video was very well done. It is extremely informative, covering several profiles of 'N Sync - from their biodata, hobbies, to footages of their leisure time and full-length live performances. There is also a brief account of how the group was formed. And of course, a lot of music videos. What more can a 'N Sync fan ask for such a comprehensive package?"
I recommend to anyone who likes NSYNC to buy this product

"What I liked most about this DVD was watching the music videos, learning about hobbies of each member of NSYNC, how the band was formed and looing at the NSYNC photo gallery which was cool. What I found on this DVD when I bought it and looking at the menu was that it also included 2 bonus videos which are I Drive Myself Crazy and U Drive Me Craxy. I The music videos include
I Want You Back
Tearin' Up My Heart
(God Must Have Spent) A Little More TIme On You
I Drive Myself Crazy
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays
For the Girl Who Has Everything
Here We Go"
