Two Outstanding History Channel Series

"This set consists of Season One of Battle 360 which is focused entirely on the combat exploits of the Aircraft Carrier, U.S.S. Enterprise. In my opinion this is one of the History Channel's best true history series, and uses elaborate computer graphic re-enactments, interwoven with real combat footage to tell the chronological history of this great ship. In Battle 360 the combat history of the Enterprise is accurately and engagingly told. Battle 360 is literally big-picture narrative history as done by the old History Channel at its very best. By the same token, Seasons I and II of Dogfights, is also one of the old History Channel's all-time best series, spanning aerial combat from WW I through Desert Storm. In contrast to Battle 360, Dogfights does an excellent job of dissecting small air combat encounters, using interviews of actual pilots and state-of-the-art computer graphic re-enactments. But the small encounters are accurately placed in the larger picture of the conflicts in which they took place. These two series literally represent what seems to be the last attempt of the History Channel to tell true and accurate history. Dogfights, and Battle 360 represent accurate and unbiased American history, told with all the narrative tension of a good novel."

"These videos were purchased as a Christmas gift for my husband. He was pleasantly surprised and excited to receive his gift. They are a great value and provide hours of both entertainment and interesting information about history and the military. My husband and I both have enjoyed them."
