Puppet Master is a creepy, strange movie that follows the formula of The Haunting as a group of paranormal investigators visit an old house and soon come under siege from horrifying puppets and a strange force that lurks there. Puppet Master 2 focuses on the original creator of the puppets, Andre Toulon, and his quest for love and revenge as another group of people come to investigate the house and fall into a death trap of puppets and their mystic master. Puppet Master 3: Toulon's Revenge is a flashback story of how Toulon is being hounded by the Nazi's and must try to escape Germany before they use the secret of his puppets to aid them in world domination. The first film is a classic, low-budget, high-atmosphere film. It's strange, but stands on it's own merits. The second was obviously made as a cash-in flick, since the first one did astoundingly good considering it's budget, but the puppets are still awesome. And the third actually has a lot of heart. The best Puppet Master films gathered in one set. If you're interested in trying out the Full Moon experience, here is an affordable, easy way to do so. |
