Movie Reviews

Alan Rickman; Teacher and Guide
Margaret A. Gerow | Snover, Michigan | 08/06/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Alan Rickman brings the power of who he is in this film of films. His performance of Mesmer is so enlightening he offers to us the man he emulates in this film for our enjoyment and our learning. I was so delighted to find, at last, a true version of the man who preceeded Freud but has been left in the background. Kudos to all."
All Alan, all the time!

"I am an Alan Rickman devotee. If you are like minded, and wish his films featured him more, you will want to own it just for the fact that he is the main focus of this film. His hair looks wonderfully long and soft, and he makes some great, uh, facial expressions in this one. Watch it and you'll see what I mean...

The film itself is a bit lacking, but who cares-- it stars our Alan. 'Nuff said."
