"This is an unbelievably emotional concert. You can almost feel Maurice Jarre's heartbeat and definitely hear it at the end when he takes the mic. It's great to have images of these fantastic films mixed with live footage of the orchestra playing. The commentary track of Maurice Jarre is full of insights, and anecdotes. The guy has so many funny stories to tell! It's a must have for every Lean / Jarre fan..."

"Along with John Williams, Basil Poledouris, Jerry Goldsmith and Howard Shore, Maurice Jarre is what we have the best in movie music. A spectacular dvd. Must have."

"I bought the Maurice Jarre as a christmas present for my father in law as he said he wanted the music to Lawrence of Arabia.Untill i started searching for it i did not know that Maurice Jarre did this but then started searching for some live footage of the orchestra and was finding nothing in Australia but Amazon had the David lean tribute and quite a lot of other tunes too so it was well worth it and it came with dvd and cd and the quality is superb. I look forward to shopping further at Amazon."
