William Perley as Mark Twain is wincingly awful as Twain. The redeeming quality of the film lies in the performances of Bernadette Wilson as Olivia Langdon, Jack Waddell as Jim, the runaway slave, and Ray Dooley playing several roles. Definitely pick another Mark Twain movie."
