"This is an excellent Puerto Rican film produced by Benicio del Toro. The film is wrongly translated; it should be "Lovesickness". I saw this movie at the theater in Puerto Rico and it was great. It is a comedy filled with heartfelt and endearing moments. It is funny, entertaining and a bit schizophrenic, all in one. All perfectly combined.
The movie tells three separate stories that depict the oddball, slightly psychotic and emotional side of love. A woman deals with the unfaithfulness of her husband (and with who) the day her grandmother dies; and her son starts to experience a teen crush. An old divorced couple meets up again after years when she helps him out by allowing him to live at their home. But, what about her other, newer ex-husband who also lives there? This is a hysterical account about jealousy at all stages in live. A man hijacks a bus because he wants to marry the driver, will she want to? Granted, she doesn't even know who he is.
The stories are both original and typical in that they happen to everyone and yet they are so uniquely experienced. The film is funny and honestly, really good. The only fault I found in this movie is that it is too short and there is not that much character development (it leaves a lot to the imagination). But, it is a really good effort by the Puerto Rican actors. I enjoyed it very much, and laughed quite a bit.

"This film is a clear representation of who we are and I loved it. I recommend this movie to anyone. I actually purchased it and I cannot wait to see it again and share it with family and friends. Although I was born and raised in NJ, I consider myself to be pure Puerto Rican. I love who I am and where I come from. My father is a true jibaro and he made sure we knew our culture. Back to the film. GREAT MOVIE"

"BEING A LATINA I COULD RELATE TO THE INTERTWINED LOVE STORIES IN THIS MOVIE.
IT WAS AN HONEST LOOK AT LATIN CULTURE RE LOVE AT ANY AGE. THE OPENING STORY LINE OF THE COUPLE FIGHTING ABOUT NOTHING IS OH SO TRUE. BEEN THERE DONE THAT!!!
THE STORYLINE OF INFIDELITY MAY HAVE BEEN FUNNY AS HELL, BUT TRUE TO LIFE AS IT CAN BE, WITH WANTING TO KICK SOMEONE'S BUTT DUE TO THE HURT AND BETRAYAL, WAS RIGHT ON!! BEEN THERE DONE THAT AS WELL.
BUT THE OLDER GENERATION'S LOVE STORY WAS THE MOST ENDEARING OF ALL.
I CAME AWAY FROM THIS MOVIE LOVING MY PEOPLE AND CULTURE MORE THAN EVER. I BOUGHT 5 COPIES OF THIS MOVIE TO THOSE I LOVE AND THEY IN TURN HAVE LOVED ME FOR IT.
THE ESSENCE OF THE MOVIE IS UNIVERSAL BUT FOR ME WAS VERY PERSONAL. IT IS A GREAT MOVIE."

"Charleen's review here is right on- too bad, this could have been an excellent movie- they have the story (stories), all the actors are cast right, filmed nicely- I just wish they would have taken more time with this."
