"Hi! This is my review of the Tom Green show MTV issued video "Uncensored," which SHOULD have been titled "Behind the Scenes and Boring Interviews With the Cast, Producers, and Anyone Who's Directly or Indirectly Involved with The Tom Green Show." It is what I have just said. This is the SAME EXACT thing MTV broadcast during their "uncensored" week, and it is DEFINATELY NOT uncensored. If, however, you are interested in what exactly goes into the Tom Green Show, you might enjoy this! It's insightful, thoughtful and contains very few actualy full skits from the show, and even LESS unreleased/uncensored video! For a better view of TRUE uncensored (for the most part) Tom Green, check out "Something Smells Funny," or "Tonsil Hockey," also available on Amazon.com. This is soely my opinion. I LOVE the Tom Green Show, and have been following it for years (quit laughing!), but this is just another ploy for MTV to make some money. Well, they got mine. --Drake"
Might as well be called Tom Greens producers uncensored.

"Now don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those Tom Green haters. In fact, hes one of my favorite celebrities and I happen to think that he is a comedic genius. Unfortunately, I have to give this DVD 2 stars and that is all that it deserves. The title is completely misleading, Tom Green Uncensored. I would have to say Tom is only shown in about 35% of this movie, and the rest of it are his producers telling us about the show. About the uncensored part, everything that has been shown bleeped out on MTV is still very much CENSORED on this movie. Not once is a segment from his real show seen on this in its entirerty, and some of his funniest segments aren't even on here. And for a DVD, this is some of the worst sound i have ever heard, even on VHS! Sadly, all of you Tom Green fanatics like me out there will have to wait for something more representative of this crazy and hilarious Canadian to actually warrant a purchase."
MTV.....Such rebels! NOT.

"Okay, I just got this DVD today not from amazon.com, but from a local retail DVD/CD reseller. I'm posting this as a cautionary warning to anyone considering buying this DVD. I can only say this: Don't buy it. Save your money. MTV shows their true colors with this release. It's nothing but producers talking about tom green like he's the ultimate king of comedy right up there with jerry lewis, red foxx, johnny carson, etc. Don't get me wrong: I find tom green very VERY funny and his skits have left me rolling and clutching my abs in pain from the laughter. What's wrong with the DVD??? First, the menu is stupid and the colors so bright and diluted that I thought I needed 3-D glasses in order to see the different options/destinations. Second, the people involved with the tom green show interrupt every damn segment with voice-overs and the like. Thirdly, alot of segments are edited down and portions are fuzzed out and bleeped. Seriously, MTV is a huge corporate double-standard. Even back in 2000 they were showing all sorts of teens acting a fool on "the real world" and rap videos promoting violence, yet "MTV studios" can't release an UNEDITED VIDEO/DVD? Excuse me? MTV, who are you trying to protect? Get real! Furthermore, the "hidden features" show VERY short edits from some of tom green's skits. Example: imagine my delight when I clicked on an easter egg to see the "piggy" sketch which is tom being .....tom, and doing a gregorian chant about the 'piggy' and the 'piggy goes down the hill' all the while he's staring and mugging for the camera. Hilarious and devestatingly funny. I laughed and actually applauded...then stopped when they STOPPED 1 MIN. INTO THE SEGMENT and faded back to the menu. Wait, you mean to tell me that MTV could'nt be bothered with including the whole damn thing? What, time was running out like on a VHS tape? Also the segment where tom brings home that homeless woman and tells his parents she's engaged to him. They stopped halfway though and never told you the outcome. The worst DVD I have ever bought and I will be returning the DVD tomorrow. The people behind this DVD are just out to get your money, don't give it to them! Lazy crummy layout and editing and production. It would have been SO easy to just show the clips in their entirety THEN give you the option of voice overs/commentaries but apparently MTV could'nt find the time or just did'nt care. Plus the sound fades in and out and the laughable "rock" back music rises up and down and sometimes drowns out the people speaking! Cheap crap of the lowest denomination. Tom Green deserves better and I know he was'nt behind this at all. No, it's MTV cashing in on their property and trying to make a quick buck. Avoid at all costs. *ZERO STARS* F-"

"This DVD has a totally misleading title. It is fully censored, and to top it off, the cast keeps interrupting the skits being showed. Seriously, let me get you straigt--the cast commentary is not all that bad, and some viewers may actually be intereseted in it--but the fact of the matter is that they spend more time on interviewing the cast then showing the skits. To make matters NOT ONE SKIT IS SHOWN IN ITS ENTIRETY. You will see more if you watch the show on TV. You will sit down to watch this video and think "well, they still bleep out all the words and blur the ... , but at least I have some of the funny skits on tape" WRONG. You will see your favorite skits WITH SUBSTANTIAL PORTIONS MISSING. Each skit is only about half as long as it would be if it was airing on MTV itself. I am much dismayed ... ."
A DVD about Tom without Tom

"This is the worst. There are no segments. Totally forgettable. And it's people talking about episodes without the episodes, and none of these people you care about. If anything, this would be an "extra" included on the DVD collection of episodes, not a DVD in itself. MTV bites.. I am so happy he left them. I cannot give it 0 stars, so the one star goes to the DVD interface. It was the only thing laughable about the DVD."
