The performances were cool, but the whole "behind the scenes" parts were very boring. If you want this video because you love TRL, I would highly recommend not buying it. They go behind the scenes and talk to the producers and all the other people involved with the show and talk about all it takes to get TRL on the air every day. They take you on a tour of MTV and they show a few bloopers and greatest moments but all of them are pretty recent - and I know TRL has been on the air for a few years now. Worst of all, they don't even talk to Carson - Hello! He's the host. I know these other people work really hard and do a real good job - but I tune in to watch Carson not these other guys. There are some really good performances on there (although they have too many pop performances - *NSYNC, BSB, Christina Aguilera, 5ive). If you could possibly rent this video I would - I really wouldn't recommend buying it unless you really want the performances."
