Movie Reviews

Great Video
DGC | 03/20/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This DVD on the Blue Train was really great. The narration was great, it gave a feeling of what it is like to travel on the train, and it also showed some behind the scenes footage of the Blue Train being cleaned and prepared for its next journey. The video also included some footage of some beautiful South African towns and Cities including Pretoria and Cape Town."
Great reminiscenses, great quality

"Opening teaser has no narrative and quality wasn't great. But it soon kicks into the program and that was FABULOUS. Really well put together.

The Jo'burg to Cape Town segment was much better, more detailed vs. Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. This segment was still v.enjoyable.

We've seen some of the area and traveled on Rovos Rail, so many fond memories. Sensational value given the price for anyone interested in vacationing in South Africa (would highly recommend, and I am not a SA or work for any tourist co. etc.)"
