Perhaps one of the earliest attempts at the 'giant monster' horror film. The stop motion animation fools no one, but the scenes with the Brontosaurus terrorizing hordes of people in London certainly influenced decades of filmmaking such as Godzilla, King Kong, and more. At only an hour long, the film does not do justice to Doyle's classic book, but at least the casting of Professor Challenger seems legitimate. This one hasn't aged well, but deserves a decent rating for its influence on the genre.
