"LOS CANALLAS is the first color film starring Mexican pro wrestling legend Mil Mascaras and is a sequal to his first film the eponymously titled MIL MASCARAS.This time out the "man of a thousand masks"takes on a gang of bikers led by actress Regina Torne.Torne comes across almost like a south of the border Tura Santana and is more than a match for the film's hero. What can you say about Mil Mascaras? The third and youngest member of Mexico's "holy trinity of pro wrestling"(Santo and Blue Demon are the other two)epitomizes the similarities between comic book heroes and pro wrestlers. The athletically muscular Mascaras in his colorful costumes looks like he just stepped out of a comic book.Using his grappling skills Mil defeats Ms.Torne and her thugs as well as a number of villianous wrestlers. It's easy to see how Mascaras was the inspiration for the independantly published American comic book hero Mr.Incognito.I can't wait until Las Vampiras, Enigma of Death and the aforementioned Mil Mascaras are released on DVD.Good fun!"
