Member Movie Reviews Abi B. (abijoijoi) from EPSOM, NH Reviewed on 12/7/2013... this was better than i sort of expected, after reading all the reviews! it's true, the actors aren't as perfect for their roles as in the original LD, but hey, who could be? at any rate, it's definately worth watching if you're an LD fan, just to continue the story. (forget about the REAL story, which is in the books - for me nothnig can compare. one of the reasons i was so captivated by the original movie 'epic' is that every actor chosen was just as i imagined them, especially Blue Duck. Just amazing. But you'll be just as sucked in by Larry McMurtry's words in print, just a slightly different ending. Not to give you any spoiler alerts, of course.
But if you just watch these as separate and distinct, they are well worth it. Love SwapaDVD! |
