"These DVDs sure bring back great memories from my childhood. Years ago, my family lived in Chile for a couple of years. El Chapulin Colorado, played by Mexican comedian Roberto Gomez Bolanos, was a hugely popular show on Chilean TV. When Amazon started offering the Chapulin DVDs, I started acquiring them so that I could share my childhood experiences with my children. My kids do not understand any spanish but enjoy watching El Chapulin Colorado. The show is situational comedy at his best and draws his popularity from the immense talents of its creator and fellow actors. Every country has a comedian that, at one time or another, stood out and made TV history: In the United Kingdom, it's Benny Hill. In Japan, it's Ken Shimura. in the Philippines, it's Rodolfo Quizon. In Australia, Paul Hogan and Clive James ruled. In Mexico (and the rest of Latin America), it is El Chapulin Colorado, the lovable super-hero with a touch of Benny Hill, that defined comedy for decades. Chapulin always answers the "Who will help me now?" call, protects the weak and, in the end, saves the girl but not without getting himself into the most incredible and comical situations first. I highly recommend the Chapulin Colorado series. Sheer fun for the whole family!"
