I don't allow her to watch TV and this is the only DVD she has, but nonetheless, she LOVES it. Every morning she'll ask "little pim please mommy!". I have tried to teach her french from books prior to this and she does have a large french vocabulary, but I have been so far and long removed from speaking to other french natives that I was afraid that my accent wouldn't be quite right.
I love how multi cultural little pim is and how it's broken up into seven 5 min intervals. She finds the cartoon pim hilarious and I love how there's NOT a lot of music blaring and quick cuts from one image to another. My only gripe would be that I wish it would be more in depth. I allow her to watch through the dvds twice a day max, but she's almost mastered them and I'm not sure what to do next with her. I'll probably buy the next 3 DVDs and then even try them in spanish." |
