This is among my favorite music documentaries of all time. It hits all the high points: great interviews with many people in the industry who worked with Linda Ronstadt including long-time producers John Boylan and Peter Asher; singer-songwriters J.D. Souther, Karla Bonoff, and Jackson Browne; record mogul David Geffen; Joe Smith, president of Elektra/Asylum records during Linda’s peak years of the 70s and 80s; and music critics/friends Cameron Crowe and the L.A. Times’ Robert Hillburn, with Linda herself narrating a good portion that ties the stages of her career together. It shows repeatedly how she would decide on a project and go for it. I knew she had done a Mexican album, but news to me was her signing in the opera "Pirates of Penzance". There are also a good deal of concert footage. This is an all-around excellent documentary. Highly recommend if you're interested in rock and roll history and are a Ronstadt fan.

WOW.. What a great story about a fantastic singer and very talented in any style of music she sang. I grew up listening to Rock and loved some of her music but never really followed her career that close. After seeing her singing with Dolly and Miss Harris and then doing other styles of music including Mexican and nailing it over and over again was a joy to watch! I know she has Parkinson's now and that is sad but Linda,,,,, Thank you for the music and this fantastic Blu Ray walking us through your life!
