Fun but not great! Keeps you in one area if you are confined to small space though.

This is a Great Dvd and I have so many others of hers to compare it with. This one offers the 1, 2 and 3 miles and each one is a separate workout and able to get to from the main menu. The only disappointment is listening to the long explanation of how to use the waist band during the 1st mile.

This is a another great workout from Leslie Sansone. I like to have many of her different workouts on hand for variety and this is a nice one.

"I got the WATP for ABS 1 & 2 Mile DVD to add variety to my daily WATP sessions , which I have religiously done for the last 3 weeks . This is truly the first exercise routine I have ever stuck to for so long as WATP is so simple for an uncoordinated person like me & can be done at my convenience which is normally 9.30 p.m!! Also WATP is not as strenuous as kickboxing type aerobics which leave me feeling very sore the next day . The only catch with this WATP for Abs is the special "resistance belt" which is not available in Australia and is quite flimsy anyway according to other amazon reviewers .I tried using weights instead but it's not the same . So I made up my own "resistance belt" for US $15 out of (1) Men's wide leather belt (2) Metal key ring holder with a wide loop specially for attaching to belts (3) 2 X Oval key ring holder clips similar to mountain climbing clips (4) A fitness resistance tube expander of medium strength 135cm long with handles . After fastening the key ring holder to back of belt with wire to make it stay in the middle of my back when done up , I attached the 2 X Oval key ring holder clips to this central key ring holder . Then I knot the resistance tube on to each of the Oval key ring holder clips without cutting the tube into half . This leather belt with metal fittings & proper resistance tubes is so strong that only Arnie could break it .Since it works like Leslie's original "resistance belt" , it really gives my Abs & arms one hell of a workout - I was slightly sore after the WATP for Abs 2 mile walk . I highly recommend this DVD so long as you have some form of resistance belt as it really works different parts of your body to the usual WATP program ."

"I was recently diagniosed with type 2 diabetes and my Dr told me I needed to lose some weight. I tried walking at a nearby park but the summer heat just wore me out. So I ordered WATP for ABS. All I can say is WOW!! I never imagined I'd actually enjoy working out. Like the previous reviewer I use hand weights (1 lb) instead of the belt, and it seems to be doing the job for me. I started out doing the one mile...and it's a FAST one mile...before moving to the two mile. And believe me, you're gonna sweat doing this workout.
In just a few weeks this workout, in combination with diet, has given me more energy than I've had in years and I've already dropped a pant size! I've been telling everyone about this DVD and hope to add Leslie's Walk & Kick to my collection soon."
Ditch the belt, keep the workout!

"I will have to agree and disagree with a previous reviewer. I do indeed LOVE this WATP for Abs series. However, I HATE the belt. I use hand weights, and think it adds quite an impact and intensity to the workout. The ide of the belt is resistance and core strength, which the weights provide equally well (better in my opinion). I have been using this series for over a year and will continue to do so!"
Love It!!!!

"I have an old VHS Abs 2 mile walking tape I use ALL the time. I used it every day when I was pregnant with my 3rd child up until the day I delivered. It is low-impact to where you're not stretching or lifting things that would hurt yourself. After I delivered, I was back in my jeans a few days later and could start the tape sooner than walking on the sidewalk. I didn't have the belt, I just used small weights, 3-5 pounds, and it worked just as well. My arms were noticeably smaller within 2-3 weeks. It's great when you need to be on the go and can't go somewhere to exercise. It's quick and great for when the kids are napping!!! Great buy!!"
Feel good, "fun and fit!" workout with Leslie and friends.

"I really love this workout. I have a large collection of Leslie's most recent dvds (I have all but one of the walk at home series) and this is my first WATP purchase.
I liked seeing the younger Lynn, Mary, and Jo. They were so pretty back then and they all still look pretty and healthy now-- check out the latest dvd, "The Big Burn- 2 miles" work out; all three cast members are there. ANd of course, Leslie looks fabulous. I don't know how old she was back then, but I hope I will look svelte like Leslie when I become that age.
I am in my early 20's and I fractured my foot and my knees start to ache for days if I try to do more intense cardio and strength training work outs. I prefer Leslie's work outs with out boosted walking options ( like this dvd) over the ones that do have it. I feel a little bad if I don't do the boosted walking in the other work outs because I feel like I haven't really did a mile. This work out is definitely safe and easy on my knees and fractured foot.
Parts of her miles have faster walking moments like in "Leslie Sansone's 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk" dvd. But unlike the "Fat Burning Walk" dvd, "WATP for ABS" start with a slow and steady warm up and I feel like I could walk more smoothly and effectively. "Leslie's Fast & Firm: 4 Really Big Miles" have a warm up too but it is pretty fast for a warm up, in my opinion, and even Leslie mentioned that the warm up is "a little peppy."
I use 1.5 or 2 lb hand weights because I don't have the walking belt. I think the hand weights do just fine and are a good substitute to the walking belt. The weights make my ab muscles to adjust and stabilize themselves so it helps with tightening up the ab muscles. The work outs do a lot arm movements with the belt while walking so you are forced to use your core automatically. If you don't have the walking belt, make sure to remember to tuck in your tummy because the walking belt is said to do the tummy tucking for you.
I like to do the 3 mile work out twice if I have the time and I always work up a sweat. The 2 mile work out is fun too. I keep forgetting to time the 3 mile work out but I timed the 2-mile workout and it is 28 minutes of warm up and walking with the last 2 minutes of the 30 minute work out used for cool down."
