"OK, I don't really know how to do this review. I should give a SPOILER ALERT right away, because the part I want to talk about is the final fight of the movie. The story is about 3 guys who are after Jimmy Wang Yu's dad. They try to kill his dad, so Wang Yu kills them. But the mother of these 3 guys is a super tough old lady. In the final fight, Wang Yu gets in his car and runs her over like 4 times, and it looks totally real!! I can't believe it, but it looks like they actually run her over. Not only does Wang Yu run her over, he stops the car right on her, then peels out on her stomach!! I think it may be a stunt double, but I'm still not sure. The movie is bad, but there are enough good cheesy moments to get you through it. And the final fight has to be seen to be believed.
The movie also stars Lung Fei, Yasuaki Kurata, Shan Mao and Eddy Ko. The kung fu grandma's name is Tse Gam-Guk.
2.5/5
The picture quality on the Pathfinder DVD is really good, especially for a movie from 1973. English and Chinese dubs sound good. There's a good commentary track, and a great 10 minute interview with Wang Yu where he talks about the movie and what is was like to work with the kung fu grandma. What else could you want?"
