Movie Reviews

Great video
Lorriger rogerson | WAshington, usa | 05/19/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I used the original on vhs about 3 years ago and got very in shape and lost a lot of weight. THe only tools required are a weight bench, and heavy dumbbells. I have now joined for the gym, so I'm not using this, but once my membership expeires this will be how I get my weight lifting in. Also, if you are going to buy a weight benchg you can get one that is adjustable that does flat or incline positoin. In kathy's video she only uses flat but if your like me and get more stuff then Tosca Reno's book called "clean eating fitness program ( i think)" has excersizes in it that use a recline bench so you could actually add to this video with excersizes you get other places, though this video is enoghh in itself and it only requires the flat bench."
A Great Workout
M. Roth | Bangor. ME | 07/13/2008
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This DVD has three 20 minute workouts that are enjoyable to do and easy to follow. One can select which workout to do at a given time or do two or three of them during the same workout session, which allows for variety and is useful if only a short period of time is available for exercising on a particular day."
Best toning ever
Heidi Keifer | St. Louis, MO | 01/21/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I have both the Lift Weights to Lose Weight original and 2. Although the second is probably more effective, and definately clever, I still LOVE the original. I have never gotten a better work out--not even when I spent an hour at the gym doing "Nautilus". It's fast pased enough to keep me breathing heavy.

I don't have a weight bench, so I use an aerobics step when I need to lay on my back with the weights, and I use a chair (and even a piano bench once)when it's required for kneeling. I considered buying a bench, but decided these alternatives worked so well that it wasn't worth the effort, money or storage area to buy the bench.

The toning is top quality and the only tape I look forword to doing. You just can't get a better work out in this amount of time."
Good workout
Holly Ledden | 10/06/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is a good workout with weights that doesn't require a lot of time or crazy equipment. I like to use it on days that I do some cardio (walking). It's easy to follow and effective. As a regular part of my new workout plan it seems to be doing it's part to attack the jiggly areas I'd rather not have."
