Member Movie Reviews Ann M. Reviewed on 11/7/2011... Sound is mono, so it has an older, duller sound to it, but when my kids were kindergarten and younger, they really enjoyed it. It is a sweet story and it tells it with less extrenuous add-on's that Disney often does. How close is it to the original story? I'm not sure, but I think its closer than Disney b/c of details that was absent from Disney's, and because the setting matched some of the human characters that were there. 1 of 1 member(s) found this review helpful.

While they may not have the huge budget to have perfect production quality, they respect and adhere to the story as it was written -- something I believe my children will thank me for someday."
