"When I saw this mini-series on TV for the first time, I was absolutely thrilled with it. I had to buy the VHS. Sure thing, I had to have the DVD as soon as I learned about it. But this DVD-release is unbelieveably badly made: bad sound-quality, bad picture-quality and above all so many cut scenes (!) like the one where Eve meets Alain for the first time or Bruno's grandmother died. So my recommendation to all fans: Keep your hands off this DVD!! It will will make you really aggressive..."
A nice story but the DVD leaves alot to be desired

"I won't comment much on the story itself since it's very individual from person to person. I like the story that's why I bought this DVD. It is very romatic but suffers from a lack of character building plus many of the storylines leaves me wanting to know more and are often told to fast and lacks depth. I would imagine the book has all I'm missing in the movie but I haven't read it.
I was shocked when I saw this DVD on my tv. The transfer is VERY VERY poor. it looks as if this DVD was recorded of a cinema screen and not a pure source. Also the sound has sort of a hollow ring to it as if it too wasn't recorded from a pure source. I first saw Till we meet again on tv where I live some weeks ago and I was amazed of the image quality of film shot more than 15 years ago and presumeably not on film stock but I don't know this. So naturally when I ordered the DVD I was certain that the image quality would at least be up to par with the tv broadcast but sadly it wasn't. I cannot recommend buying this DVD simply because the poor image and sound quality ruins the experience."
Very Entertaining

"Unlike the other reviewer, I have not seen the original television show, so I am approaching this series with a fresh mind. The actors are excellent, the cast diverse and the story interesting. Although "soapy" at times, in general, the series is extremely entertaining. It is far better than 99% of the fare on television. It may not be a masterpiece, but it sure is fun to watch."
Beautiful, Entertaining and Realistic story line

"Ihave had the VHS for years and decided to buy the DVD for my collection. Michael York is superb and so are the rest of the cast. I love Hugh Grant but not in this role. The story is so absorbing . The filming is great. I am sure anyone watching this will not be disappointed."

"I loved this original TV series when it aired. And still today it was enjoyable to watch after a decade. Courtney Cox was young, and Bruce Boxlietner was gorgeous. And let us not forget Hugh Grant, he has improved with age."
