Operation Pacific - Old school John Wayne Black and White war plotline classic if you like those. Others will find it slow and boring.
They Were Expendable - A Black and White John Wayne Classic based on true events!
Flying Leathernecks - A classic but not the greatest picture and audio quality!

John Wayne is always a favorite in our house and these were upto par, so if you are a John Wayne fan, these would be a great addition to your collection. He puts a human face on war tragedy and then adds old fashioned love stories and good clean humor. There is nothing like the old movies!

"The movie is great!!!!! The four in one DVD stunk. The quality was poor. Everytime the movie would change to a new scene the movie would freeze. It was a pain to watch. From now on I'd rather have the single DVD."
Truly pleased by John Wayne fan.

"I purchased this title: John Wayne War: 4 Film Favorites for my favorite John Wayne fan. He tells me the films are clear and bright and he could not detect any "editing" out of favorite scenes. The films are full length, the sound is crisp and clear. I will be purchasing other films for him as gifts."

"They Were Expendable may arguably be the best John Wayne WW II movie he ever made. After watching Flying Leathernecks I statrted wondering if I could find an old Hellcat that I could go fly, (It turns out those Grummans are very exspensive and suck lot's of fuel). Realizing that I could never afford to go fly on of those magnificent machines I was forced to come to grips with reality and do what any red blooded american fighting male would do, I watched it again with equal enthusiasim! Operation Pacific is most people favorite, In just thought it was okay. Back to Bataan is good in that it chronicals the effort to and for America by Fillipino citizens."
4 Excellent Films

"This set of films is a great value if you're looking for some fine representations of older WWII movies. John Wayne flies, sails, dives, and marches his way through battle after battle, often with the same supporting cast playing slightly different roles.
I found the video and audio to be high quality, and the films enjoyable. Highly recommended."
