This is the first actual film that John Carpenter has directed since Ghosts of mars (sorry people, but his two episodes of Masters of Horror r not actual films regardless of what some may say). But to get to it the viewer must sit through a movie with horrible acting by the main character. I have never seen anything else with Amber Heard and after seeing this movie I never will. The other actors are really pretty good so it is a shame about the lead being so bad. They should remake the movie with a better lead. The plot is okay and I didn't figure out the twist ahead of time. I would give this movie 2 stars only because of the end and the non lead actors good acting, but the lead actress is so bad I can't rate it any higher. 4 of 5 member(s) found this review helpful.
