This workout is definitely not for beginners! There are 3 segments done in a circuit style format. It consists cardio, sculpting, and ab moves. There is approximately 30 minutes of high impact cardio drills. There are kickboxing and sports influenced drills as well as your standard "bootcamp" exercises (jumping jacks, burpees).

After the cardio it is full body sculpting moves where you work both upper and lower body moves at the same time. You are supposed to use 2 sets of dumbells, one heavy and one light. I used 5 and 8 lbs. I felt the heavier segment went to fast to use heavier weights myself. I do P90x on a regular basis and using 8 lbs that fast didn't feel good. She recommends 8-10 lbs for the heavy part and I think that it moves too fast to be safe and controlled.

The ab segment is really good. She does 2 sets of a good circuit that works all parts of the core. For a couple of exercises she uses a 10 lb dumbell. I use a 5 or 8. The stretch is nice and very thorough.

All in all this workout is about 75 minutes long and it's pretty intense. I really like the cardio and abs but I'm not crazy about the sculpting. I prefer working heavier and slower but that's just my personal preference.
