Incredible clarity of sound and picture.

"This is yet another great DVD I purchased at Amazon. This is BB King in concert taken from the BET network show BET on Jazz. This is a fairly recnt concert. BB sits while he performs now due to his age and weight I suppose. He still puts on a great show though. He has the whole band with him and a horn section. This DVD is encoded in the DTS format. If you haven't heard DVDs in DTS you don't know what your missing. It opens the sound up that much more and you hear greater separation and clarity. The sound quality on this DVD is just incredible. My hat's off to whomever recorded and mixed this concert. There's a few other BB DVDs out there and they are all good, but the sound on this one beats them. If you have a good sourround sound system (with DTS) and you play this DVD and close your eyes you would swear you were listening to BB live. It's that good. A great choice to add to your DVD collection."

"Having seen BB every year when he comes to town... This is the real thing. The DTS track is amazing! This is pretty much his full current set, no annoying cuts and splices like the Blues Summit DVD that came out the same day as this one.The picture is crystal clear. I didn't know what to expect, but after watching Image's James Brown DVD, I didn't think this could top it, which it at least equals IMHO.I saw a gig with Buddy Guy and BB King last year and Buddy said it aptly, "We are the only ones left!" See him when you can, while you can! Also, the BB King blues band is full of the top jazz/blues musicians around. Get it now you won't be disappointed!"
Everyone Will Swing For Sure

"This was on my brother-in-law's wish list and we gave it to him for Christmas. He played it immediately. My 89-year-old mother-in-law was inspired to get up and show us how to swing dance. In fact, it made a room of six diverse musical tastes very happy. It also stimulated the economy. On the basis of this DVD, the first they had ever seen, my in-laws decided to buy it and a player. This is pure BB, great listening and dancing jazz, and the quality of the DVD is such, it feels like live entertainment. A must have classic if you collect concert DVDs."
King of the Blues in the Twilight

"The clarity of the sound and video make this a real showcase for DTS productions. BB's voice is still tremendous and he demonstrates the bluesman's tradition of weaving a story into his performance. This is not the BB King of twenty or even ten years ago with the exception of a couple of tracks the back up band plays more than BB. There are couple of tracks where BB makes Lucile sing in his one of a kind style. The DVD is some what bittersweet because it is a little like watching Joe Montanna play for the Chiefs or Mickey Mantle hit 220. You are seeing BB in the twilight of his career. Over all this is a very well mixed and produced DVD. A great example of what DTS technology can do. This is as close to the feeling you would get seeing BB play in a small venue bar in the midwest. The sound is great. It is too bad DTS was not around twenty years ago when the great bluesmen were at their zenith."
Must have for BB fans

"This is a must have for BB King fans. The interview is very interesting. It is well produced and is particularly well done in DTS. Audio is well balanced and seems to place you at a good table in quiet club. It documents a good show by one of blues greatest performers. If you have never seen BB live, you need to see this. If you have seen BB live, you'll remember how great he is."
