"Captivating and compelling glimpse, from a friends point of view, of the early acting years of the legendary James Dean. The lead actor's portrayal of Dean is superb, down right scary he's extremely convincing. Written and directed by William Bast, Dean's roommate and confidant, it is a searing chronicle of Dean's turbulent life and times."

"Stephen McHattie stars in the best bio-pic of James Dean created so far. It is quite an early but factual account of the 50's screen legend. This movie really started my interest in James Dean which continues to this day. Although he only made three films his tragic death has had a profound effect on millions of people. McHattie's performance captures the charisma and charm. Since seeing it on BBC in the 1980's I have been looking for the film. Only on Amazon was I able to find it. A rare gem which should be seen by anyone who has had a picture of James Dean on their wall."
Loved IT!

"This is the first movie about dean that really made me feel like I got a glimpse into who he really was. Ive seen all of deans movies and the actor who plays him really channels him....I actually cried..."
