Barclay | Bloomington, MN United States | 03/09/2010 (3 out of 5 stars) "Fans of Jacques Brel will be delighted to see these performances. There's nothing to say about Brel that hasn't been said; this series of DVD's will be like the return of an old friend. Don't expect great digital quality, since Brel's performances took place in the sixties; all the same, he moves us still, across time and space, and leaves the imprint of his passionate performances as if he were here today. One caveat--be aware that this DVD IS a French import, and is NOT in NTSC/Region 1 format. The carton clearly notes that it is PAL and will not play worldwide. Don't worry, though--Amazon.com sells multi-region DVD players. I bought one from them and I'm enjoying many imported DVD's with it."
