Stolen clips, irrelevant chatter, profiteering

"If you care about ethical behavior, then avoid the Inside series from Classic Rock. To avoid paying royalties, they use clips less than 20 seconds long, often of very poor quality, and argue that it is fair use, since they are doing "critical reviews." They sell their wares to the public as informative and musical, and the content is neither: just a thrown together rip-off mishmash."

"This DVD will probably only hold interest to die hard ELO/Move/Wizzard & Roy/Jeff/Bev fans [like me!]
It IS a documentary, NOT a 'performance video'. There are some great clips of the earliest ELO line-up [personnel] with lots & lots [almost TOO much] comments by English rock/music critics.
It's good because it has footage from [very HARD TO FIND in the states] British & German TV shows....
It's not as good as it COULD'VE been because the makers of the DVD COULD have added the complete performances [by themselves without the blab & commentary] in an additional menu. The documentary [complete show] lasts one hour. DVDs can hold MORE than that. Anyway, it's just a suggestion....
This is why I gave it 3 stars. It's good but not "excellent".
Hopefully someday the powers that be [like "F.T.M."???] will put out a nice BIG DVD set of The Move & ELO [with "Mike Sheridan's Lot"! & "Wizzard"!] like 'The Beatles Anthology' where they cover the WHOLE Move/ELO saga & do it up proper."
