An interesting story and well acted. Willem Dafoe is perfect in the role of the reluctant hunter.

Willem Dafoe is excellent, as usual. Frances O'Connor is nice to watch. The story is almost more about the setting and scenery than anything else, as the plot line is fairly linear, without many surprises. The ending is bittersweet. What makes the movie worth watching is the well scripted transformation that Dafoe's character experiences. I won't get into that aspect, as it would involve spoilers. And, well, the scenery is quite something to see. It's very easy to put yourself into this exotic and wild place...to feel the remoteness and the otherworldly, ethereal quality of this country.
