"First, what this video is not: It isn't riding instruction or horse breeds. You can buy a kid's video on horse breeds for about $10 that we used in our summer camps. What this video IS: this one's for the horse enthusiast. Our classical riding based on the Spanish Riding School, aka dressage is covered beautifully. They show the training of the horses, the riders and how both together create the dance we call classical riding. My friend bought a 4 video set at a garage sale which is how I first saw this. If you're an adult seriously into horses, this is great, and if you're buying for a child, it's best if they're actually taking lessons or super horse crazy. All in all it's a beautifully done video, and if you learn by watching, you can pick up a few tips as well."
Not what I thought it was...

"This video ended up being all about training horses, with a documentary (complete with subtitles) about the trainer. I bought it for my daughter thinking it was about different horse breeds."
Superb!

"A joyful surprise. Did not expect this to be so loaded with ecquisit training and performance. It is actually 2 films on 1 DVD. The first will be appreciated by the lover of highest level dresage and training methods and philosophy by the higher acclaimed Spanish riding school typs instructor. The 2nd is not the circus we Americans know. It is a feast for the eyes with tastes above the rest, for equestrian high level training and bridleless work and animal combo horse feats that only can be properly trained by those who appreciate the unslaved spirit of the animal.
Definately worth more than the price!"
