Fans of classic horror movies will love this collection. Of course, the Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney (Jr & Sr), and Vincent Price are represented, but even the movies without a big-name star were fun to watch. There are a few movies I'd never heard of, but I was delighted to find some real gems here, including Metropolis (a famous silent movie) and The Killer Shrews (very funny script and enjoyable movie, despite the lame title), and Nosferatu (an original Dracula character). This is a real education for future sci-fi movie makers to learn classic dramatic techniques and low-budget tricks that were used before intense special effects. Shivers, stars and silliness all in one huge 50-movie package.
