"Propoganda is a strong word for these movies, since what they really are are movies that were made during World War II to help motivate people to support the war effort and keep our spirits high. I remember this era very well and how difficult times were and how important messages like this were for us. The films themselves brought back good memories and I had fun watching them. I noticed that another person ehre said they are DVD-R. I'm not sure what that means. They played find on my DVD player."

"The most striking thing for me about this DVD when I watched it is that there are a lot of different types of clips on it. It's not really all propoganda in the strict sense.
What is really on here are a bunch of different intersting films made during and before World War II - some of them about America and some of them about other countries helping America.
You get a good sense of how much the war effort was building up and how it was sold to the American people, but it's hardly the intense propoganda you saw out of the government during the cold war.
The clips are in better condition than I would have expected and were entertaining."
