Cute movie, but I wouldn't recommend this at all. Louis Gossett, Jr., who has great screen presence, did not have enough screen time. The boy who played his son was only average and the plot was contrived. The boy receives a pair of magical shoes from a gypsy. When his father dies, he finds that everytime he puts the shoes on, he travels back in time to his father's childhood. Not recommended. 2 of 2 member(s) found this review helpful.

Clay finds a sustaining connection with his father after his death, and reconnects other members of his extended family. An excellent film for children who have lost a loved one.
