Fine suspense drama, about a situation familiar to Tom Hanks fans who reveled in Captain Philips.

But this movie has no hero--just a situation with no good solution.

It's a lot grittier than Captain Philips, and the Somali pirates are only momentarily sympathetic.

Subtitles are absolutely necessary for most English speakers.

It's a strong, moving film, but not for the faint of heart or the tender of stomach.
